Good Morning friends! Now that I’m older, I don’t dress up for Halloween like I used to (especially when it falls on a Tuesday. Let’s be real). My focus is now on what my little one will be wearing and what time we need to leave the house for trick-or-treating in order to make it home in time for bedtime. Ha! How times have changed. Even though I won’t be dressing up this year, It’s still fun to do a little something so you feel like you are participating in the festivities.
I wasn’t about to go buy anything. You would be surprised at what you can come up with, with things you already have around the house. This day of the dead inspired look only takes 4 products, all of which I already had in my arsenal! You can even take it up a notch on Halloween by pulling your hair back into a low bun, and throwing on a long floral dress.
I started with a fresh face. Just some mascara and eyeliner (don’t judge me people)!
I then used a mixture of dark grey, black, and blue eye shadows all around my eyes and black eyeliner to line the inner rims. For my mouth and nose, I used black liquid eyeliner with a fine tip. Lastly, I used my contour stick (no blending required) to create depth on my cheek bones. Easy!
