Isn’t the summer just fantastic? I love just about everything about it. I love being outside and playing in the water, feeling the warm sun on my skin, the light and airy clothes, and the taste of watermelon. The thing I don’t love is wearing a ton of makeup and the feeling of it melting off my face.
I prefer to keep it simple when I can, but I still want to look pulled together and have that summer time glow. There’s a few products that I can’t live without and thought it would be fun to share some of them with you.
I use Moroccan oil on my hair daily. The daily elements can be very drying and damaging to my tresses, so after I shower I rub some oil into my wet strands to look in moisture and protect them from heat treatment.

Lets start with a good base. The Amore Pacific sunscreen is so luxurious. It’s a silky face sunscreen in a compact form with the perfect lightweight, non-greasy, yet just the right amount of dewiness for you skin sunscreen.
Next its all about the highlight to add that shimmery kissed by the sun effect. Anastasia Beverly Hills products are so highly pigmented (in the best possible way) that just a little goes a long ways. I’ve had this palate for almost a year now and it still looks new. I love to pop the deepest bronze shade onto my cheekbones and the lighter gold shade down my nose and above my cupids bow and if I am heading to the beach ill throw the mauve shade onto my eyelids. Wa la instant bronze goddess.
Last but certainly not least for the face is a great lip color. I am obsessed with the Nars pencil. I have just about every shade they make because I wear them year round. I am so picky about what I put on my lips because I can’t stand that tacky feeling or anything to heavy. These pencils glide on so effortlessly, stay on for hours, and are lightweight. These hot pink and orange shades may be a little out of your comfort zone but trust me, they are amazing.

Now let me tell you about my favorite product on the list. When I first discovered body blur I didn’t really know what it was. Whatever this magic potion was it had stellar reviews on Sephora and with an upcoming trip to Hawaii I figured what the hell, I’ll give it a try. Holy crap I was not disappointed. I started by rubbing it on my legs. They instantly looked like I had already been in Hawaii for a month and had the most delicate hint of shimmer to them while hiding any little imperfection (hence the blur) and enhancing muscle tone.
