Top 5 Winter Coats and Jackets

If there’s one thing I know, it’s coats and jackets. Born and raised in Seattle, a coat is something I just can’t live without out. Whether I am running to the grocery store, going for a walk, or going out for dinner once winter hits there is no leaving the house without one.

These are the top 5 winter coats and jackets I’ve worn the most this year.

Sherpa Coat

The coat of the season 2 years running. I have long versions and short versions in a variety of colors. They literally go with everything. I love them with denim, joggers, and leggings.

Leather Jacket

A fall and winter staple. A good leather jacket never goes out of style. I have had so many over the years, but this one is my favorite to date. The removable hood makes it so versatile and instantly changes the look of any outfit.

Puffer and Utility Puffer Coat

Ahh the puffer coat. This season, the bigger the puffer the better! Plus they are everywhere from Target to Bloomingdales which means that there is an abundance of colors and price points.

Plaid Mensware Coat

I picked up a plaid menswear coat a few years ago and it has continue to be one of my favorites year after year. I was so excited to see more of them hit the stores this year. A subtle print is surprisingly versatile. Mine is a deep navy with grey and I’ve worn it with green utility joggers, dresses, and denim.

Faux Fur Coat

Is there anything more extra than a fur coat? I can’t get enough. I love the way it takes a look from basic or simple to luxe. I’m obsessed with the short and long versions. If you are stepping into fur for the first time, opt for a classic color like cream, tan, or black.
