Good morning friends! I hope everyone had a fun and refreshing weekend. We loaded up the car Friday morning and headed over to Lake Chelan for a little getaway with friends. I have been to Chelan numerous times over the years, but the beauty of it never gets old. We rented a house right on the lake with our own dock and a fenced in backyard. Which is perfect when you have 3 little ones running around.
The water was the prettiest shade of blue and so clear!
The boys went golfing on Friday so we felt it was only fair that they watch the kiddos for a bit on Saturday and let us ladies do some wine tasting.
Siren Song was our first stop, and let me just tell you it did not disappoint. The minute we began walking up the path we were impressed and felt transported into Tuscany.
When we walked in we were immediately greeted and offered a table inside or outside (outside of course) and given a menu. This is slightly different from most wineries where the tasting is preset. Here, you choose 3 from the list and they are all brought out at the same time.
Tastings with a view.
Our next and final stop was Fielding Hills Winery which is next door to Siren Song but has a much different vibe to it. With corn hole and anorak chairs on the lawn outside this is where we decided to kick back, get some sun, and enjoy the views and some girlfriend time before heading back to our families.
